Inclusive Arts

At Kaleido Company, we believe that the performing arts should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to creating inclusive environments where people of all abilities, backgrounds and identities can experience, participate in and contribute to performance.

Inclusivity is not only about who is on stage, but also about who feels welcome in the room — whether as performers, collaborators or audience members.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

We actively support equal access to creative opportunities and strive to build spaces where everyone can engage with circus and performance in ways that feel safe, empowering and meaningful.

We welcome and work alongside:

  • First Nations artists and communities
  • Deaf and Auslan users
  • Deafblind performers
  • Artists and participants with disabilities
  • People with diverse physical, sensory and neurodivergent experiences
  • Individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • People of all genders, sexualities and identities

We are committed to ongoing learning, consultation and collaboration to ensure our creative spaces, processes and performances are accessible and responsive to the communities we work with. Our goal is to remove barriers wherever possible so that people can fully participate in creative experiences.
